Stocks to buy : Shares of TVS Holdings Limited (NSE:TVSHLTD), a small-cap company operating in the auto ancillary industry, jumped more than 10% and reached ₹15,700 level on NSE in the early trading session today on Wednesday, July 22nd.
This surge in the shares was driven by a 74% year-on-year increase in the company’s net profit in the first quarter of FY2027. This significant increase in the net profit led investors to rush to buy the shares, leading to a rise of more than 10% in the share price. At the time of writing this article, the company’s shares are trading at ₹14,845 level (TVS Holdings share price) on NSE, with more than 4% increase from previous closing levels.
Talking about the quarterly results, company’s performance in the first quarter of FY 2027 remained quite impressive. Net profit of the company increased by approximately 74% year-on-year to ₹1,173.5 crore, compared to ₹675.3 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. Revenue also increased significantly this quarter, rising 34% year-on-year to ₹17,076.1 crore, compared to ₹12,742.1 crore in the same quarter of FY 2026.
Company’s EBITDA and EBITDA margin also saw a significant rise in this quarter. EBITDA of the company increased by 38.6% year-on-year to ₹2,789.3 crore, compared to ₹2,012.1 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year and EBITDA margin stood at 16.3% in this quarter, which was 15.8% in the same quarter of the previous financial year.
