Stocks to buy now : Shares of Laurus Labs Ltd (NSE:LAURUSLABS), a pharma company, rose more than 2% and touched their all-time high level of ₹1,610 on NSE during the day’s trading session on Friday, July 24th after the company announced its results for the first quarter of FY27 in which it has shown strong performance with the net profit rising 126% year-on-year.

Company’s overall results for the quarter were quite impressive and this is reason behind the stock touching it’s all-time high level. However, shares of Laurus Labs Ltd. closed at ₹1,601 level (Laurus Labs share price) on NSE on Friday, up nearly 2% from previous closing.

Despite the stock touching it’s all-time high level, expert still believes its technical setup is strong and it could see further upside as well. Shares of Laurus Labs Ltd are already up 44% in the last three months, 57% in the last six months and 92% in last one year.

According to the information available on BSE, company’s revenue in the June quarter of FY27 increased by 29% year-on-year to ₹2,026 crores, compared to ₹1,570 crores in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. EBITDA increased by 66% year-on-year to ₹644 crores, compared to ₹389 crores in the same quarter of FY2026.

EBITDA margin also increased by 700 basis points year-on-year to 31.80%. This EBITDA margin was 24.80% in the same quarter of FY2026. Company’s net profit also saw a significant jump this quarter, increasing by 126% year-on-year to ₹368 crores, compared to ₹163 crores in the same quarter of FY2026.

Commenting on the quarterly results, Dr. Satyanarayana Chava, CEO and Founder, said that the company delivered record performance this quarter, with significant improvement in profitability. Company further strengthened its integrated offerings and recorded healthy growth in its CDMO business. It has also signed in-licensing agreements for two antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), strengthening its capacity in high-value segments.

Aastha Jain, Senior Research Analyst at Hem Securities, said that the ₹1,600 range was a major hurdle for this stock, which it crossed on Friday and closed above it closing at ₹1,602 level. Expert believes that the stock could reach levels (Laurus Labs share price target) of ₹1,650/₹1,700. Fresh buying is also recommended in the stock, with a stop loss of ₹1,530.
